Updating of Records in the Online Registration and Update System (ORUS)

On August 22, 2022, the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) issued a Revenue Memorandum Circular (RMC) No. 122-2022 informing the taxpayers about the launch of ORUS. 

In line with the BIR’s 2022-2023 Digital Transformation Roadmap which aims to provide easy, convenient, accessible, and fast registration for taxpayers, ORUS allows taxpayers to register, update, and process registration-related transactions online.

Once the system is available, all taxpayers who intends to transact manually or online through ORUS, shall update their registration records such as official e-mail address and contact information by filling up the S1-905 or the Registration Update Sheet (RUS).  

The RUS may be submitted via email to the concerned Regional District Office (RDO) where the taxpayer is registered.
